Where do your products come from?

Borrelli Gourmet Foods is an importer of specialty Italian and Spanish foods, however we do also carry Canadian and American products among others. We travel the world to present you the most unique and truly original food items that we know you'll love and enjoy. Many of the foods items we carry come from our Italian culture, but we do not stop simply at the roots of our heritage. Tomatoes from Canada, pasta's from Italy, and vegetables from Spain are only some of the products that help make Borrelli Gourmet Foods a great importer of quality foods. Look through this site and see what else we have to offer!

Where can I find your products?

Our products can be found in many stores throughout the United States. You can view our coverage map to see which states we cover. For specific store information, feel free to email us at info@borrelligourmetfoods.com or call us at 519-977-6058 and a representative will be happy to answer your questions.

How do you read the Tomato Product expiry dates?

On the top or bottom of our tomato products is a code the may look like the following: 93 TW 4237A. This is how the code is read:

                 - 93 The establishment number

                 - TWN Product Description (in this case Tomato Whole NoSalt)

                 - 4 Year of Production (2004)

                 - 237 Julien Date (Aug. 25)

                 - A Time of Day A&B (before lunch), C&D (after lunch)

This information provides you with the date of production. Our canned tomato products have a 2 year shelf life, so add two years to the production date and that is the expiry date. For a Julien Date converter, please click here.
