Olive Oil is a true symbol of Italian culture. Used in everything from pasta's to breads, olive oil is a well known italian condiment that has become one of todays essential cooking items. We believe that this Italian tradition should continue with superb tasting olive oils imported directly from Italy itself. Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a first press olive oil, meaning that it is the oil resulting from the initial pressing of the harvested olives, and therefore the richest in flavour. The olives would then be pressed a second time, in order to retreive the highest volume of oil, producing yet another great oil, however it is not as rich in colour or taste as the first press. This second press olive oil is our Pure Olive Oil. |
