It is usually known as an oil attitude olive but its good taste and wide cultivated area make it a good table olive. This olive has high oil content with a fruity and delicate taste. It is purple-brown in colour with a small oval shape that is very easy to pit. Leccine olives originally come from Toscana but are now cultivated all over the world. It is suggested with cheeses and meats.
